General notes

We thank you for your interest in our company and our products. The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Server log data

When you visit our website, our web server automatically records the following technical information in a log file:

  • IP address of the requesting device (truncated)
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the requested file
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Referrer URL

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure provision of the website). Data is deleted no later than seven days after collection.

Fonts

This website uses the typefaces Cormorant Garamond and Manrope. Both are self-hosted (via Fontsource). No connection is made to third-party servers such as Google Fonts.

Inquiry form

The forms on the Planning and Contact pages open your local email client with the entered data when submitted — no processing takes place on our servers up to that point. Once you send the email from your mail client, the data is transmitted to info@rotovib.eu. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in business contact).

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking (analytics, ad networks, social media pixels).

YouTube videos (two-click procedure)

Product pages embed videos from YouTube. We use a two-click procedure: initially you only see a placeholder with a play button. A connection to YouTube/Google is established only once you actively click play. The embed uses the privacy-friendlier domain youtube-nocookie.com — YouTube then sets cookies only when you start the video. By clicking, you transmit data (including your IP address and browser information) to Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (your consent through active interaction). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy .

Instagram feed (Behold)

The homepage displays a selection of posts from the public Instagram profile @armbrusterkeltereitechnologie. The embed is provided by the third-party service Behold (Behold.so). Behold fetches the public post data from Instagram, caches the images and serves them through its own CDN (domain behold.pictures). When the homepage is loaded, images are requested directly from the Behold CDN, which results in your IP address being transmitted to Behold. No cookies are set by Behold and no end-user tracking takes place. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in providing an up-to-date glimpse into our workshop activities).
